Team protection is critical – Indiana ranks No. 4 nationally in field goal percentage, with all three of its top players averaging 2.5 assists per game or more. They have a very efficient offense and if Minnesota doesn't interact and play defense, I see a lot of easy goals for the Hoosiers.

Paige Isaac Asuma – With Chancey Willis Jr. lost for the season, Minnesota will need a lot of help in the backcourt. Asuma is the most likely candidate, but his play is inconsistent and often absent, which looks awkward in the Bear's system. He will get it, but the sooner the better.

Without Robert Waihola and Chancey Willis Jr., this game would have been a real struggle. Without them, a small miracle might have happened. Perhaps Cade Tyson and Jalen Crocker-Johnson can dominate in the paint and make the game interesting. But at some point we're going to have to stop the Hoosiers and maybe hit some outside shots. I doubt we can do something like that.
