How to complete Source of Contamination in ARC Raiders – Destructoid

The Source of Pollution quest will send you on an investigation into ARK Raiders to find out what is ruining the water supply to Spiranza.

You start the quest after receiving it from Celeste. Structurally, the quest is quite simple, where you have to look for the source of what spoils the water. This guide will help you complete the quest without any hassle.

Walkthrough of the ARC Raiders quest “Source of Pollution”

The Source of Pollution quest can be divided into the following parts.

• Get to the water treatment building at the dam.
• Locate the flood water intake near the swamp.
• Investigate any suspicious objects

The first task is to get to the water treatment building. The location is in the south-central part of the Dam Battlegrounds map. I have marked this location in the image below to make it easier for you to complete the quest.

Once you reach the east side of the building, you will notice stairs going up. Don't climb stairs; turn right instead and you'll find a hole. The pit is hidden, so approach the ladder and face it. Go down into the hole, and in the middle of the water there is a barrel.

Close the barrel to complete research on the item. Don't worry; although the water is toxic, you will not take any damage. There is also a bunch of mullein growing in this area, which will help you craft medical items. Once the investigation is complete, speak with Celeste when you return to Speranza to complete the quest.
