Although Republicans hold a slim majority in the House of Representatives, Democrats may struggle to retake control of the lower chamber, judging by the party's slim lead on the general ballot and extremely low favorability ratings.

The NRCC video uses negative messages to link Democrats across the country to avowed socialist Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic candidate for mayor of New York City. Mamdani is shown three times in the 60-second video.
House Republican Campaign Division rolled out The memo, released last week, argued that Mamdani would hurt vulnerable House Democrats as Republicans seek to make the 34-year-old socialist “the face of the Democratic Party.”
Republicans also ready benefit from mid-decade redistricting as the party already touts gains in Texas, Missouri, North Carolina And Ohio.
