Home improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested for the sixth time in five years after the actor violated his probation on a domestic violence charge.
Brian, 44, and his girlfriend, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, 32, were taken into police custody in Eugene, Oregon, on Nov. 29, according to the release. put records in jail Global News review.
The actor is currently being held without bond in the Lane County Jail and is scheduled to be released Dec. 3, jail records show.
While Brian was detained for violating probation due to a previous domestic violence conviction, Cartwright faces multiple chargesincluding one count of driving under the influence, three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of attempted first-degree assault.

Brian was also arrested in January in Myrtle Beach and charged with second-degree domestic violence.

According to the police report, received by people On Jan. 6, the arresting officer reported that Cartwright “stated that she was assaulted” by Brian and that they “live together and have children together.”
Cartwright alleged that Brian “choked her and punched her in the face multiple times.”
The officer said the woman had “obvious injuries” to her face, including bruising and swelling.
Brian told the officer that he and Cartwright “had an argument about her drinking” and when he tried to “take the bottle away from her,” she “refused” and was “thrashing back and forth.”
The actor was booked into the Horry County Jail on Jan. 2 on $10,000 bail and released the next day, according to jail records reviewed by Global News.
In February 2024, Brian was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
He was arrested in California by officers from the La Quinta Sheriff's Station who were responding to a vehicle suspected of being involved in a traffic accident just after 2 a.m.
Deputies observed “signs of impairment” in the driver, Brian, and arrested him for DUI with priors. He was also charged with contempt of court.
In July 2023, Brian was arrested for assault after police responded to a call regarding a physical dispute at his Oregon home. A few months later, in October, he pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault and, after taking a plea deal, was sentenced to a week in jail and 36 months of supervised probation.
The sentencing judge ordered that he “must have no contact with the victim without the approval of the probation officer, treatment for alcohol/drug abuse as directed by the probation officer, and no use of alcohol or drugs.”
He collided similar allegations in October 2020when he was arrested in Oregon for assault, threatening, stalking, coercion, strangulation and interfering with a report after a fight with his girlfriend, Cartwright.
The most serious charges against him were dropped in 2020, but he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors — menacing and fourth-degree assault — and was sentenced to prison. three years probationary period.
He was also required to participate in a violence intervention program and prohibited from having any contact with Cartwright.
