WINNIPEG — Tomas Hertl scored at 4:47 of overtime on a power play to lead the Vegas Golden Knights to a 4-3 victory over the Winnipeg Jets, whose losing streak extended to 10 games.
Mitch Marner shot the puck and it bounced off Hertl as he scrambled in front of goalie Connor Hellebuyck.

Mark Stone also scored a power-play goal for the Golden Knights (18-11-12), extending his hitting streak to a career-high five games. Reilly Smith scored and Brett Howden also scored, giving him three goals in three straight games.
Carter Hart stopped 17 shots for Vegas, which finished a three-game road trip with a 1-1-1 record and its first win in six games (1-3-2).
The Jets have lost 10 straight games (0-6-4) and haven't won in regulation since beating Washington 5-1 on Dec. 13.

Cole Perfetti scored 16 goals, Luke Schenn scored in his 1,100th career game and Kyle Connor also scored for the Jets (15-21-5). Gabriel Vilardi had a pair of assists.
Hellebuyck made 27 saves in the first of Winnipeg's five straight home games at Canada Life Centre.
At the 12th minute of the second period, Winnipeg led 2:0.
Perfetti beat Hart with a backhand at 5:16 of the first period, rolling on the boards and banging on the glass in happiness at ending the drought. He played on a new second line with centers Jonathan Toews and Vilardi.

The crowd fell silent after Jets defenseman Haydn Fleury was taken off the ice on a stretcher with just under seven minutes left in the first.
Vegas forward Keegan Kolesar pushed Fleury at the bottom of the circle as he cleared the puck and slid hard back into the end boards first. The team later announced on social media that he was fully alert and moving his limbs.
Schenn's point shot through traffic went past Hart at 12:04 for a 2-0 lead.

Stone then put the puck into the net with 12 seconds left on the man advantage for his 13th goal of the season with 51 seconds left in the midway frame.
Howden took a pass through the net from Noah Hanifin to tie the game 2-2 at 8:13 of the third.
Connor gave the Jets the lead at 14:56, but Smith scored 59 seconds later to tie the game again.
After Hart made three excellent saves in overtime, Jets defenseman Dylan Samberg was called for tripping with 51 seconds left in the extra frame.

Jets: Winnipeg has lost its last 12 games by one goal, with its last one-goal win coming on Nov. 15. Their 10-game winless streak is their longest since the team moved to Winnipeg from Atlanta in 2011. Franchise record: 16 games (0-13-3) for the Thrashers in the first two months of 2000.
