The Netflix team behind Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft has given us a sneak peek at what's to come in Season 2.
In the new trailer, Lara and Sam, a character first introduced by Rihanna Pratchett in the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot, engage in all sorts of hijinks. Including Lara hitting the shark on the nose, as she did in Angelina Jolie's Tomb Raider film, The Cradle of Life. They also take a while to drink their coffee, because who wants to raid a grave without some caffeine to lubricate their axles?
Speaking of axels, we also see Lara using her dual climbing axes, another key piece of equipment from the rebooted Survivor timeline. You can watch the trailer for Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft below.
“Lara races across the world to find ancient African relics before a tech-seer with a penchant for playing god uses them to unleash worldwide destruction,” the official blurb reads.
Hayley Atwell returns for season two as the voice of Lara Croft, as does Earl Bailon as Jonah. Joining the cast this season is Karen Fukuhara (The Boys, Suicide Squad) as Sam.
Season two of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will be released on Netflix on December 11. This the season will be the last in the series.
