Mob Entertainment has released yet another new cinematic trailer to whet our collective appetite for Poppy play time Chapter 5.
It's one of those blink-and-you'll-miss-it events—it doesn't even last a minute—but it gives a glimpse of what we can expect from Mob Entertainment's mammoth mascot horror series, including another ghostly look at the mysterious Prototype and our first look at a brand new character who may or may not be a new villain that some fans are calling Lilly Lovebrades.
Unfortunately, this teaser doesn't have a release date – just please wishlist it on Steam and the Epic Games Store – but the speed at which Mob is releasing teasers suggests it could be here sooner rather than later.
The previous chapter, titled Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, is as you'd expect. came out on PC back in January of this yearAnd on consoles in the summerwhich also makes January 2026 a timely opportunity to abandon its successor. Watch this space.
Last May, the studio announced that A film adaptation of Poppy Playtime is in the works. with Legendary Entertainment and Angry Films.
