‘Heated Rivalry’ Star Connor Storrie To Visit TODAY in First Morning TV Appearance

Heated rivalry” star will make her morning show debut on January 14 on the TODAY Channel, stopping by 30 Rock to discuss the hit hockey romantic drama series that has taken the world by storm since its US premiere on November 28 on HBO Max.

His live interview, which will take place on TODAY's “3rd Hour,” comes two days after he makes his late-night Jan. 12 debut on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” He also announced nominations for the SAG-AFTRA Actor Awards on Jan. 7, along with Abbott's Elementary star Janelle James.

In Heated Rivalry, Storry plays Russian hockey phenom Ilya Rozanov, who plays for the Boston team in a fictional professional hockey league. Long before his debut season, he meets young Canadian star Shane Hollander, played by fellow breakout actor Hudson Williams, and the two begin a decades-long romantic fling that chronicles the series' six episodes.

Like Storrie, Williams just made his late-night debut with an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Jan. 7, drawing fervor from fans and the crowd at 30 Rock with his appearance.

Although the first season of Heated Rivalry ended with its finale on December 26, the show has already been renewed for a second season. Canadian streamer Crave announced the show's renewal on December 12th..

“Heated Rivalry” is based on Rachel Reed A hockey romance novel of the same name, first published in 2019. Shane and Ilya's love story continued in her 2022 novel, The Long Game.
