He Dared to Doubt Climate Change! – RedState

In a surprisingly dense way, we are getting a new report about Jeffrey Epstein that puts the man in a negative light. According to an Ivy League publication, it was revealed that a late Democratic Party donor may have held positions that need to be reconsidered and could put that person in an untenable position. You need to prepare for this revelation.

Jeffrey Epstein was obviously a climate denier.

This explosive information comes from Yale University's Climate Connections. And to go along with this new information, which now portrays Epstein as a man of possibly unsavory character, the publication also sees fit to include President Trump in this expose. The connections are as follows to find the correct explanation: desperate.

As moral as it is to delve into this predatory pedophile's positions on global climate science, the need to shoehorn Donald Trump's name into this scribble is even more insane. It's something to behold.

Writer Sarah Peach rushes forward with this informationand from the very beginning you see the intention. Not only is the topic presented in tawdry, but the subtitle needed to include the president's name: “Newly released emails show Epstein sold climate denial myths to scientist Lawrence Krauss during Trump's first term.”

This could be seen as a harmless enough reference, but it gets much crazier. After another mention of Trump's timeline in contacting a scientist, there is another passage where Epstein says he has questions based on conversations he had with “Trump people.” Ms. Peach then tries to connect the two men, even if there is no tangible connection.

Climate change denial was a common interest of both men. The president has called climate change a hoax, and his administration has revived the misleading claim that carbon dioxide benefits crops. More significant is the enormous wealth and personal or political power of each individual—and how they wielded both at the expense of many others.

Apparently, Trump and Epstein can independently hold similar views, and this then unites them… in a sense. While this is obviously an example of what might mildly be called a “stretch”, the following paragraph is a marvel of trying to weld two men together without any circumstantial evidence.

One Epstein victim said It was recently revealed that about 1,000 women survived his violence. As for Trump, his pro-fossil fuel policies will lead to 1.3 million additional temperature-related deaths worldwide in the coming decades, according to a new report. analysis from ProPublica and the Guardian.

“As for Trump…”?!?! WHAT???? The two concepts are not at all similar, yet here Sarah Peach is confronted with the names of two men in consecutive sentences in this paragraph, for absolutely no reason other than Trump's involvement, even though she has nothing in the way of evidence. Ms. Peach then relies on a New Republic reporter to make the non-existent connection.

The difference between climate denial and Epstein denial is that the underlying harms in question—catastrophic global warming and decades of sexual abuse—are simply horrific.

Ahhh… so if you deny climate change, it's practically the same as denying your relationship with a known pedophile. What an absolute lack of mental acuity and integrity. This is nothing more than a clear party desire to connect these people with something completely alien to the main crimes.

All this is completely childish babble, but there is one more point that makes it completely infantile. Given that this is a university publication, the sensitivity of the potential peer audience must be taken into account. As a result, there is actually a trigger warning for the intended adults who will be reading.

Warning: In addition to mentions of climate-related misinformation, this article contains allegations of sexual assault and crime.

This explains everything. It's a childish attempt at edgy journalism, but what emerges is the publishing equivalent of teenage persistence.
