Happy IEEE Day!
First celebrated in 2009. IEEE Day commemorates the first meeting of IEEE members to exchange technical ideas in 1884.
The worldwide celebration showcases how thousands of IEEE members in their local communities come together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better future.
“IEEE Day 2025 “is a celebration of innovation, collaboration and the incredible impact our members have around the world,” said Abdul Khaliq MI, this year's IEEE Day Chair. “I encourage everyone to join, share their stories and be part of this global movement.”
Celebrate IEEE Day with fellow IEEE Sections, Student Chapters, Special Interest Groups, and Society Chapters. Events take place both virtually and in person around the world.

Have fun and compete in photo and video competitions. Have your phone and camera ready when you attend one of the events. This year we will have both photo competitions and video competitions. You can submit your applications in the fields of STEM, technical, humanitarian and social categories.
