Fox News host Sean Hannity announced that he will arrange a town hall with Republican New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli, which will air on Fox News Channel on Thursday.

New Jersey gubernatorial race is one of the most closely watched elections as Ciattarelli looks to turn things around again Garden State red after coming close to defeating Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy in 2021.

Opinion polls against his opponent, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mickey Sherrill, have tightened in recent weeks.

A Fox News poll Polling results from October 10–14 showed Cheryl with 50% support among likely voters and Ciattarelli with 45%. Sherrill's 5-point lead was down from an 8-point lead in the September Fox News poll in New Jersey.

In an Oct. 15 interview with Fox News Digital, Ciattarelli noted that he “made great strides” in his 2021 run “in Hudson and Passaic counties,” two longtime Democratic Party strongholds. He also noted that President Donald Trump has a following in those counties.

“And the president did very, very well in '24 in those same districts. And if you look at those who support me, including some very prominent Democrats here in Hudson County, people want change,” Ciattarelli asserts.

Meanwhile, Cheryl quoted Ciattarelli's approval of President Trump's policies against him.

On Oct. 8, she said her Republican challenger “has shown no signs of standing up to this president.”

“In fact, the President himself called Jack 100% MAGA, and he showed every sign of it,” Sherrill said.

The race has been rocked by explosive allegations from both sides.

According to Cheryl's military records, the U.S. Naval Academy barred her from participating in the 1994 graduation exam due to a cheating scandal that Ciattarelli called a disqualification.
