The first Care-bot GR-3 from Fourier. This full-size “care bot” is designed as an interactive companion. Its soft-touch outer shell and multi-modal emotional interaction system bring the concept of “warm technical communication” to life.
I like that it's soft to the touchalthough I'm not sure encouraging touch is safe. Reminds me a little ValkyrieWhere NASA Pay a lot of attention to the soft aspects of the robot.

This 112 gram micro air transport (MAV) has folding propellers that can be locked into a compact rectangular profile comparable in size to a smartphone. The vehicle can be launched by simply throwing it into the air, after which the arms will unfold and autonomously stabilize to a hovering state. Numerous flight tests have demonstrated the closed-loop controller's ability to stabilize the MAV based on a variety of initial conditions, including fall rates of up to 2,500 degrees per second.

USA Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in collaboration with NASA promotes space robotics by introducing reinforcement learning algorithms on Astrobeefree-flying robot assistant on board International Space Station. This video shows how NRL researchers use artificial intelligence so that robots can learn, adapt and perform tasks autonomously. Integrating reinforcement learning, Astrobee can improve maneuverability and optimize energy use.
