GORN 2 expands its brutal combat with a major free update that adds a full Dungeon Brawler mode to the epic VR combat. Available now on Meta Quest, PS VR2 and SteamVR, the update transforms the familiar chaos of the arena into a wild dungeon crawl that's all about close-range violence.
The new mode sends players deep into randomly generated dungeons made up of 25 different room types. Each run unfolds differently, pushing players through lava-soaked corridors filled with enemies, traps, and environmental hazards. Combat remains as exaggerated and physical as ever, but now takes place along twisting dungeon paths that reward care, timing, and raw aggression. New weapons appear throughout each run, encouraging experimentation and making each run unpredictable.
In addition to the new mode, the update introduces a vibrant winter theme that changes combat and level designs. Enemies can be frozen, turning battles into chaos. Slippery floors change movement, and icy conditions add new hazards to already dangerous environments. Joining the arsenal is a collection of winter-themed weapons, including hockey sticks, pucks, icicle blades and ice arrows, designed to match the exaggerated physics for which the series is known.
The update also adds new story content and a jump button. This will allow players to jump into the air and strike enemies from above. This small change opens up new combat options and adds verticality to dungeon combat.
