Golden Globe announced a new primetime special highlighting this year's honorees, Helen Mirren And Sarah Jessica Parker. Airs January 8th at 8:00pm ET/PT. CBS and the broadcast continues Paramount+“Golden Eve: Golden Globes Honoring Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker” will feature a stellar line-up of presenters and participants.
Harrison Ford will give Mirren with her Cecil B. DeMille Awardand last year's award winner will perform as a guest. Viola Davis. Parker will receive Carol Burnett Awardas previously announced and will be joined by last year's winner Ted Danson. Colman Domingo, Sex and the City Co-stars Kristin Davis, Vin Diesel and Burnett will also be in attendance.
First created in 1952 in honor of the director of the same name, Cecil B. DeMille Award was awarded to 69 recipients, including Barbra Streisand, Jack Warner, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Redford, Sidney Poitier and Walt Disney.
Created in 2019 and originally named after its namesake, Carol Burnett Award Awarded to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to television on and off screen. Previous recipients of the award include Ellen DeGeneres, Norman Lear and Ryan Murphy.
The 83rd Golden Globe Awards, hosted by regular host Nikki Glaser, airs Sunday, January 11 at 8:00 pm ET on CBS and Paramount+. Celebrating the best in film, television and now podcasting, multiple Emmy Award-winning producing duo Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment will return as showrunners as executive producers. Dick Clark Productions will plan, host and produce the Globes.
