Try Goblin's Die on Steam now
Finnish indie studio Potion8 has officially unveiled its debut game Goblin's Die, a co-op adventure RPG for 1-5 players, coming to Steam. The project is supported by investment and advisory support from Supercell co-founder Mikko Kodisoja, giving the small studio a solid foundation to prepare for its first major release.
In Goblin's Die, players take on the role of regular goblin workers tasked with recovering the broken fragments of a mysterious magical artifact. Instead of following traditional hero classes, players collect materials, improvise equipment, and bring their finds back to the ever-growing Hive, which acts as the group's common base. The equipment a goblin wears completely defines his role, allowing players to change their playstyle on the fly. This ultimately leads to unpredictable cooperative combinations.
The game relies heavily on chaotic teamwork, where success depends on adapting to changing situations and supporting each other during increasingly dangerous runs. Each expedition offers new opportunities to experiment, encouraging replayability through build progression and overall progression.
“Goblin's Die turns the traditional fantasy of power in RPGs on its head.” said creative director Janne Kodisoja. “Instead of legendary heroes, you’re a bunch of goblins trying to survive and somehow get through this together.”
Goblin's Die will also appear at Steam Next Fest in February 2026. A free demo is now available on Steam ahead of the game's scheduled Early Access launch. You can also watch the official trailer below to get a taste of the upcoming adventure.
