GHOST CAM Is Launching on PC and Meta VR Headsets in January 2026

Become a solo photographer in GHOST CAM

Arch Rebels has announced that GHOST CAM will release on January 19, 2026 for Steam and Meta VR headsets. The announcement took place during the Women Led Games Showcase: The Game Awards Edition. The game combines psychological horror, surreal fairytale environments, and a distinctive horse girl aesthetic inspired by the 1970s and 1980s. It features a single-player exploration of the paranormal, where each visit to a changing world changes the mystery at its center.

A new trailer released alongside the announcement offers a look at never-before-seen locations, unusual spirit encounters, and updated gameplay for both VR and non-VR players. The footage highlights the game's eerie atmosphere and its emphasis on exploration through photography.

In GHOST CAM, players take on the role of a lone paranormal photographer who navigates liminal spaces marked by ghostly echoes and hidden stories. Equipped with a Polaroid-style camera, they capture spirits, discover ghostly footprints, and solve multi-layered puzzles that gradually open the way deeper into a haunted dream world.

The game's aesthetic places players in surreal stables, fragments of fading childhood memories, and long corridors where the faint sound of hooves seems to be heard from far away. Spirits vary in nature. Some quietly observe, others offer advice, and some create suspenseful encounters that test the player's instincts. Each choice affects the Ghostbuster's rating, opens paths to hidden secrets, and leads to one of several possible endings.

GHOST CAM takes inspiration from modern psychological horror, with an emphasis on carefully crafted solo storytelling. It combines a scary atmosphere with an emotional narrative and offers high replay value. Players can experience this world through full immersion in virtual reality or through a traditional screen-based approach. You can also add the game to your wishlist now on both platforms.
