Get Colossal Is Kicking off Its Global Alpha Playtest This Month

Spread monstrous chaos in Get Colossal

Glitch Hammer Games has unveiled Get Colossal, a light-hearted arena brawl built around fast-paced matches, chaotic growth, and cities that crumble under every blow. The studio shared the first trailer, as well as plans for a global alpha test on November 22 and 23, which will give players a chance to experience the game's changing scope and explosive action.

Get Colossal features a 2v2 team format where each match starts with human-sized fighters. Then they will gradually turn into robots and, finally, into huge titans. This changing scale shapes the entire course of the battle. Small fighters scamper across the battlefield and annoy larger threats, mid-sized robots add weight and force to every strike, and full-sized titans dominate the battlefield, stomping around the arena with every strike. The game's emphasis on size is combined with physics-based destruction, allowing every structure to crumble as battles unfold just like in the classics. kaiju showdown.

The upcoming alpha will give players the opportunity to test out four characters and one of the game's city maps. As you knock out your opponents, you collect Quantum Cubes that fuel your growth, turning combat into a chaotic turn as you power up and unleash new levels of power. Power-ups scattered throughout the environment further enhance the unpredictability, encouraging quick thinking and experimentation.

The game offers several ways to create chaos, including four city locations, eight characters and several modes. Break the Rift features 2v2 team battles, while Mayhem pits four players against each other. There's even a Badass mode that offers a local solo challenge against up to seven enemies.

Players can wishlist Get Colossal on Steam and sign up for the alpha on November 22nd. You can also check out the official version Discord and Glitch Hammer games website for more details.
