Telus-owned Public Mobile has increased the data offered on several Cyber Monday plans. Some plans offer 30GB more data than before. Black Friday. Check out the offers below:
- $45/120GB – 100 GB + 20 GB bonus data for six months (previously $45/100 GB).
- $40/90 GB – 70 GB + 20 GB bonus data for six months (previously 40/60 GB).
- $35/40 GB – 20 GB + 20 GB bonus data for six months (previously $35/10 GB).
- $30/8GB Canada wide (no change).
- $25/4GB 4G Canada wide (no change).
- $20 for 1GB 4G across Canada (no change).
Unless otherwise noted, the plans above include 5G data, as well as calling, texting, and data usage in Canada/US/Mexico.
Notably, the data increase comes mainly from the 20GB data bonus that Public offers in some plans. However, this bonus data expires after six months. The expiration of bonus data makes the deal less sweet, but some plans are still decent.
For example, the 45/100GB plan is still reliable even without bonus data, as is the 40/70GB plan. The $35/20GB deal itself isn't the best, although it used to be $35/10GB, so bonuses aside, you still get more data on this plan than before.
All of these Cyber Monday deals are listed as only available on December 1st, so if you're interested in one of them, you might want to grab it today. However, we've already seen Public extend deals, especially if other providers are also extending deals, so it remains to be seen what will happen.
