Neuer also posted screenshots of Albanese's profile on the university's website as it appeared before she was delisted, as well as an image of the error page.
According to screenshots posted by Neuer, Georgetown described Albanese as “an international lawyer and researcher, and the author of various publications and opinions on the Palestinian refugee issue.”
“Georgetown University made the right decision. Academic institutions should not trust Francesca Albanese, who was publicly condemned by democratic allies for anti-Semitism and Holocaust inversion. Universities exist to promote intellectual honesty and historical truth, not to legitimize distortions of history or rhetoric that justifies violence against civilians. Accountability matters, and this move reinforces that principle,” Heather Johnston, founder of the American Israel Education Association, told Fox News Digital.

In July, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced sanctions against Albanese, saying she had “directly cooperated with the International Criminal Court (ICC) in efforts to investigate, arrest, detain or prosecute citizens of the United States or Israel without the consent of those two countries.” Rubio noted in his statement that neither the United States nor Israel are signatories to the Rome Statute, the ICC's founding treaty.
“Albanese spewed unabashed anti-Semitism, expressed support for terrorism, and openly disdained the United States, Israel and the West,” the State Department said in a statement.
Several countries have condemned Albanese's statements in the past, often calling her remarks anti-Semitic.

In February 2024, Albanese was condemned by France and Germany after the words of the French President Emmanuel Macron was wrong to call the Hamas events of October 7 “the greatest anti-Semitic massacre of our century.” In her response, she said: “The 7/10 victims were killed not because of their Judaism, but in response to Israeli oppression.”
France said Albanese appeared to “justify” the attacks and her remarks were “all the more scandalous given that the fight against anti-Semitism and all forms of racism lies at the heart of the creation of the UN.” according to ADL.
Germany also responded Albanese, saying: “To justify the horrific terrorist attacks 7/10 [and] to deny their anti-Semitic character is terrible. Making such statements in our capacity as the UN is disgraceful and goes against everything the United Nations stands for.”
