Online pharmacy ZipHealth examined the link between sex and ambition by surveying 1,000 American full-time workers.

Their conclusions suggest that starting the day with intimacy in the early hours can improve productivity for the rest of the day.

Full-time workers who have sex in the morning before work reported the highest levels of productivity (71%), task completion (70%), focus (58%) and motivation (57%).

More than half (51%) of workers who admitted to having morning sex said they received a promotion in the past year, while nearly one in five (19%) morning sex workers said they received a promotion in the past year.

All this morning sex is led by unambitious young workers.

Rather, the study found that Generation X and Baby Boomers are the most likely to have morning sex (20%), followed by Millennials (17%) and Generation Z (16%).

When it comes to professions, those who work in marketing tend to have busier mornings than others.

Hospitality, manufacturing and construction workers ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.

26% of executives and business owners were most likely to get into work at the crack of dawn, followed by senior managers or department heads at 23%.

And forget about coffee or tea; More than a third (35%) of respondents said that morning sex improves their mood more than caffeine before work.
