Gen V Season two just wrapped, and according to actress Lizzie Broadway, who plays Emma Meyer on the show, she was able to pay tribute to her late co-star Chance Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson in the first season.
Talking to ColliderBroadway explains that she wore a specific piece of Andre's clothing in the finale to keep Perdomo's spirit alive on set. Perdomo died in March 2024. after a fatal motorcycle accident.
“I’m still wondering if you caught the wardrobe item in the last scene of episode eight,” Broadway asks. “I'm glad to share this. This is one of my favorite aspects of what I did. It's actually Andre's sweater. I wanted to take him as if he was with us until the end of the season. he is everywhere, and this is how I kindly wrapped him up.”
Gen V focuses on the students of Godolkin University, where they learn to harness and control the powers implanted in them by the mysterious Compound V. However, not all is as it seems in Godolkin, which leads to a group of students becoming embroiled in a conspiracy. Emma is one of the show's main characters who has the ability to change size.
