GDQ’s first ever Games Done Queer event already raises over $11,000 thanks to Donkey Kong and hot dog-making speedruns, with Halo CE and Deltarune still to come

Games Done Quick (GDQ), the wonderful speed running event that has raised millions for charity over the years, is back in a new form: Games Done Queer (also GDQ, but for gays). And the event's livestream has already raised more than $11,000 on day two, thanks to speedruns that break down Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze and see hot dogs cooked in record time.

You can see the full Games Done Queer schedule. Herewhich started on October 31 and will last until November 3. During the first round of the fundraising event, one streamer had already gone out of bounds in Diddy Kong Racing, to the point where they were essentially the barrel rolls through the voidand another put his skills to use in a horror cooking simulator kiosk to collect hot dogs and hamburgers as quickly as possible.
