Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show attendance breakdown

The first edition of Gamescom Asia x Thai Game Show attracted 206,159 visitors and 294 exhibitors and pavilions in the country.

Event, which was held in Bangkok following the merger of Gamescom Asia with the Thai Game Show earlier this year.broke previous attendance records for both events.

The Gamescom Asia x Thai Game Show took place from October 16 to 19 and featured a dedicated business zone that attracted 5,590 professionals from 81 countries. The show will return to Bangkok in 2026 from October 29 to November 1.

Thailand's Minister of Digital Economy and Society Mr. Chaichanok Chidchob said the government is committed to supporting the video game industry in the region and wants Thai-made games to gain a foothold in the global market.

“This collaboration marks a new era in Thailand's gaming ecosystem. It brings together developers, investors and players to innovate and raise Thailand to global standards,” they added.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Thailand's Minister of Commerce, Ms. Sufaji Suthumpun, stated that business negotiations conducted throughout the show generated economic value of over 1.22 billion baht (US$37.3 million).

The game developer took part in Gamescom Asia x Thai Game Show 2025 as a media partner, with tickets and accommodation paid for by the event organizers.
