Com2uS has confirmed the development of Gachiakuta: The Game, a new game based on the internationally successful anime Gachiakuta. The goal of the project is to expand the world of anime through an exciting game created for modern platforms. The game is planned to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox and Steam.
Gachiakuta tells the story of Rudo, a boy growing up in the slums who resists a society based on oppression, discrimination and extreme inequality. The anime has earned worldwide acclaim for its strong social themes, gritty graffiti-inspired visuals, and intense action-driven direction. It recently ranked No. 1 in average viewership on Crunchyroll in the US, Germany and France, and has also generated strong ratings on major streaming platforms in Japan, Southeast Asia and Europe.
