GUANGZHOU, China and AURORA, Ontario, Nov. 20, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — GAC and Magna today announced a vehicle assembly program aimed at accelerating electric mobility and expanding localized electric vehicle manufacturing in Europe. This collaboration underscores GAC's regional commitment by expanding assembly, supply and sales, and highlights Magna's leadership in automotive manufacturing. Serial production of the GAC AION V electric SUV is currently underway at the Magna plant in Graz.

AION V, which received a five-star Euro NCAP rating, debuted in Finland, Poland and Portugal. GAC plans to expand into additional European markets through new partnerships, service and sales networks.
