Florida State Football player Ethan Pritchard had an emotional reunion with his teammates at training on Friday.
Pritchard has been absent from the team since being shot in the back of the head the day after FSU. upset the Alabama Crimson Tide in August.
After the shooting, the midfielder spent several weeks in the hospital.

After he was discharged, freshman entered a rehabilitation center in Jacksonville. He rang the bell and received a standing ovation when he was released from the center on Thursday.

He is expected to attend the Seminoles' home finale against Virginia Tech on Saturday. Pritchard was using a power wheelchair when he arrived at practice Friday to visit with teammates and coaches.

Pritchard was a four-star high school recruit and Florida native.
Investigators determined that Pritchard was a victim of mistaken identity and “wasn't doing anything wrong” when he was shot outside an apartment complex near Tallahassee on Aug. 31. Authorities said Pritchard was give my aunt a lift and a child after a family party when he was attacked.

In September, four people were arrested as a result of a shooting.
“I remember everything,” Pritchard told WESH-TV in Orlando. “I turned the corner and shots rang out. I put the gear in reverse and just backed off, and after that I don’t remember what else happened.”

Pritchard added that he couldn't move his right side when he arrived at the rehabilitation center in Jacksonville, but woke up one morning and was able to move and his condition continues to improve.
