Former USC defender and the current Fox NFL analyst Mark Sanchez was stabbed early on Saturday morning and is treated at the Indianapolis hospital.
In the statement, Fox Sports said that 38 -year -old Sanchez is restoring and in a stable state.
“We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support. Our thoughts and prayers with Mark, and we ask everyone to respect him and solitude his family during this time, ”the Fox Sports statement said.
Sanchez, who was Indianapolis before appointing, to cover the game Raiders-Colts, was wounded after the battle in the center of Indianapolis at about 12:30.
The police department of the Indianapolis metro station published a statement that said: “Detectives believe that it was an isolated incident between two men, and not an accidental act of violence.”
Sanchez, who was born to Long Beach, brought Viekho’s mission to 27-1 as a starting defender, winning the Division II title in the Southern section in 2004.
He played the USC from 2006 to 2008, passing 3965 yards and 41 landing. During his last season in the USC, he went through 3207 yards and 34 landings, as the Trojans published a record 12-1 and won a pink bowl.
Despite the objections from the then coach-ESKA, Pete Carroll, Sanchez left the school early to enter the NFL draft. He was chosen by aircraft with choice No. 5 and continued to play eight seasons of NFL, publishing 37-36 records as a starter.
He spent four seasons with aircraft, starting each of the 62 games, throwing 12 092 yards and 68 landings with 69 interceptions. The planes lost in the AFC championship in each of the first two years of Sanchez in the League.
Sanchez also appeared in games with Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington. He ended his playing career with a passage of 15,357 yards, 86 TD passes and 89 interceptions.
Jets and several former teammates of Sanchez published a message about support on social networks on Saturday.
“Sending our thoughts and love to Mark Sanchez and his family. In the hope of a quick recovery, 6, ”Jets said, using the former number of Jersey Sanchez.
“Send prayers for my former teammate Mark. There is so much rack to see this, ”wrote Kerry Roads.
“So sad. Pray for his recovery, ”wrote Nick Mangold.
