White House criticized Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., for his “disgusting and revealing” comments about the ongoing shutdown.

Schumer spoke with Punchbowl Newsbased in Washington, D.C., and said Democrats are doing “better” as the shutdown continues.

“Every day gets better for us,” Schumer reportedly told Punchbowl News. “That's because we thought about it long before that, and we knew that health care would be the focus on Sept. 30, and we prepared for that… Their whole theory was that we were being threatened, we were being deceived, and we would comply in a day or two.” … Read more
