At 38 years old, Sidney Crosby continues to impress.
The Penguins captain already has 32 points, including 18 goals, in 29 games and could be on track for his 21st straight season with at least one point per game.
Despite his age, he has been at the heart of his club's success this season.
And number 87 doesn't seem ready to retire just yet.
We are learning today from interview with Crosby's agent Pat Brisson and Jean-Charles Lajoie published on TVA Sports that the veteran could play another four years in the NHL.
Honestly, who says no? https://t.co/7YDls9l7X3

Then he would have been 42 years old.
On the other hand, judging by the way he is playing now, it is not an exaggeration to say that Sid still has enough fuel in the tank for him to perform well until this age.
Crosby's priority: win the Stanley Cup… in Pittsburgh.
Despite Canadiens fans' hopes of seeing No. 87 in Montreal, Brisson said he wants to stay with the Penguins for the rest of his career.
As the forward negotiated a new contract with the organization, she was fully aware of the situation in Pittsburgh and the possibility of a difficult few years ahead.
In other words, if Crosby agreed to sign with his club at a discount, he should have stayed in Pennsylvania.
This may come as a shock to some Habs fans who were hoping to see the Kid in the blue, white and red jersey before his career ended.
Moreover, if he stays in the NHL for another 4 years, he could play long enough to give the team time to rebuild and become a top contender again.
Yes, it's a risky gamble for him, but at this point in his career he has nothing to prove.
Not to mention, the Penguins' surprise success this season, just behind the Flyers and last in the playoffs, gives him far less reason to want to leave Pittsburgh.
However, Crosby's agent doesn't completely close the door on the possibility of finishing his career elsewhere when he talks about Crosby's salary:
“He wanted to give himself the best chance possible to win another Cup or two, whether it be with the Penguins, of course, or if he ever goes somewhere else and gets traded…”
It's not much, but the fact remains that Brisson doesn't seem to completely rule out the possibility.
In short, this is a story worth following, and one that will likely generate a lot of ink.
