According to the Minister of Defense, Pete Hegset, American troops killed four people as a result of an attack on a boat off the coast of Venezuela, which was supposedly drug trafficking.
“The strike was carried out in international waters near the coast of Venezuela, while the ship transported a significant number of drugs – it went to America to poison our people,” hegset wrote in a post on X.
This is the last in a number of recent deadly blows that the United States has made boats in international waters, which, according to, participate in the “neutralization of the People's Commissars.”
The blow attracted condemnation in countries such as Venezuela and Colombia, while some international lawyers describe blows as a violation of international law.
Hegset said that the attack occurred in the field of responsibility of the US southern command, which covers most of South America and the Caribbean.
“Our intelligence, without a doubt, confirmed that this ship organized drugs, there were narcotic terrorists aboard, and they worked on a well-known transit route conducting drugs,” Hegset said about Friday attack.

US President Trump also confirmed the strike on his social platform of truth, saying that the boat carried enough drugs “to kill from 25 to 50 thousand people.”

There was no immediate response from Venezuela, but its president, Nicholas Maduro, previously condemned the blows and said that his country would protect itself from “aggression”.
