New season Fortnite means it's time to revamp the loot pool, and the fact that this new season is themed around The Simpsons means we're in for bigger changes than usual. This is similar to the situation in May, when the Star Wars season replaced all Fortnite weapons with Star Wars blasters, but since The Simpsons is a sitcom and not a wars franchise, Epic is doing things a little differently, replacing most of the health items and shields with Simpsons food and drink while simultaneously pulling out of storage a bunch of Fortnite weapons that haven't been in the Battle Royale loot pool for a long time.
But there are at least a couple of Simpsons style weapons, even in this case. At the start of the season, we will have the Mister Blasty Revolver with an exotic variant that can be obtained from the roaming boss NPC Krusty the Clown. We can expect to see other wacky Simpsons weapons later, including Moe's absurd combo pistol, Deodorant applicatorAnd Makeup gunalthough none of them have been confirmed yet.
As I previously teased, The Simpsons season also includes a number of health consumables and shields based on things from The Simpsons, like Super Squishees and Krusty Burgers.
