Forgotten Seas Sails Out of Steam Early Access

Welcome to the forgotten seas

Pangea Game Studios and indie.io released the full version of Forgotten Seas 1.0 on Steam, marking its official exit from Early Access. The game takes place in the mysterious Bermuda void. The game combines survival, exploration and the supernatural, challenging players to chart unknown waters filled with danger and wonder.

The story begins with the remains of a US Navy patrol stranded after crashing in the Bermuda Triangle. Players wake up in warm tropical waters and must fight to survive in an ocean where land is scarce and constantly moving. Islands rise and sink without warning, forcing players to quickly adapt, find shelter, and find a way home.

Forgotten Seas reimagines the survival experience by balancing between single-player and co-op play. Whether exploring the world alone or teaming up with other players via the official Discord, players can craft, build, and sail at their own pace. The game eliminates the tedious collection of resources due to a simplified crafting and resource collection system. This allows players to focus on building rafts, exploring, and mastering a flexible skill tree.

The final release owes a lot to its community. Feedback during Early Access helped the small husband-and-wife development team improve nearly every aspect of the game. From reworked land and sea combat to improved sailing physics and expanded building mechanics, the results are richer and more exciting. Now players can create floating settlements, engage in trade, grow resources and go in search of treasures on disappearing islands.

Forgotten Seas is now available on Steam with a 40% discount. Venture into the unknown and tell your story in the endless blue.
