Forget the iPhone 17 – the Galaxy S25 Ultra is just $50 more with this incredible deal

I think Samsung may have won Black Friday – well, if you're looking for a high-end phone, that is. Right now, you can get an incredible discount on the unlocked Galaxy S25 Ultra thanks to the massive Black Friday sale at the official store.

It's about a deal free storage upgrade and choose between up to $700 trade-in discount. or $440 upfront discount. Personally, I can give or take the trade-in discount since it's not the biggest I've seen from Samsung (it's $1,000), but the down payment discount here is outstanding.

Essentially, you're getting the 512GB Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra for just over $850, which itself is only $50 more than the standard iPhone 17. Apple fans will likely balk at the prospect of a Samsung device, but for an Android user like me, I can't think of a better deal on a higher-end phone today.

$850 is of course still a huge amount to pay for any phone, but in this context you'll definitely get good bang for your buck. Not only is the Galaxy S25 Ultra one of the most visually premium devices on the market currently, but its combination of a powerful chipset and excellent cameras easily makes it one of our favorites here at TechRadar.

We see a lot of great Black Friday Phone Deals right now, but this is probably my favorite unlocked deal so far. It currently outperforms many other options solely because you don't have to trade or sign up for a super expensive long-term plan to be eligible. You can simply buy a cheap Galaxy S25 Ultra and transfer it to your carrier of choice.
