I used the Blue Yeti for about 6 years and while I loved it, I hated the mute button. This only worked half the time, causing me to sit and stare at the light while waiting for it to blink.
The touch mute feature of the QuadCast microphones completely solved this problem for me. All you have to do is (lightly) hit the top of the microphone and the customizable RGB surrounding the microphone's circumference will turn off, indicating that you're no longer on air.
