For Good’ Will Release on Digital With 6 Deleted Scenes: EXCLUSIVE

There's no better place than home to watch “Evil: For Good.”

The blockbuster sequel will be available to buy or rent at home this holiday season after it earns nearly $500 million in theaters worldwide, and it will be loaded with extras.

Here's what you need to know about the film's release on digital platforms, as well as the standalone 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD release.

When will you be able to buy or rent Wicked: For Good?

You can enjoy the sequel to the hit Broadway musical adaptation on New Year's Eve, December 30th, when it will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms.

When will Wicked: For Good be released in 4K and on DVD?

The 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD versions of the film will be released on January 20, 2026.

What additional services are included?

According to Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, the version available for rent or purchase includes two versions of the film: an exclusive sing-along and an hour of bonus features.

Included is a 50-minute featurette detailing the making of the film, featuring stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, the rest of the cast and director Jon M. Chu.

It also takes a closer look at creating two new songs for the film“There's No Place Like Home” and “Girl in the Bubble”, featuring interviews with Erivo and Grande.

We also take a closer look at Kiamo Ko, the floating castle, and Elphaba's home where the film ends ending that slightly distorts the original one in a Broadway musical.

What are deleted scenes?

Bonus gifts include six deleted scenes featuring characters from Munchkins to “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by Jeff Goldblum.

They are as follows:

  • A Glinda train tour in which the residents of the Emerald City send Grande's character off in style with a song while her assistants, played by Bowen Young and Bronwyn James, try to help her by signing autographs for fans.
  • Musical montage of Munchkins making the bricks that form the Yellow Brick Road.
  • The scene where Elphaba (Erivo) retreats to her lair to deal with Fiyero's betrayal and her grief. Fiyero is the prince played by Jonathan Bailey.
  • Elphaba returns to her childhood home, the Governor's Mansion, after she swore she would never return.
  • A friendly montage of Elphaba, Glinda, Fiyero, Bok (Ethan Slater) and Nessarose (Marissa Bode) play games and laugh at the picnic.
  • Glinda floats above the Emerald City in her bubble while the Wizard of Oz flies in his hot air balloon and reprises the song “The Sentimental Man” that was in the original Wicked movie.
