Foo Fighters to perform in Edmonton, Regina, Toronto and Vancouver in 2026

Foo Fighters They're going on a short tour next summer, with four of the 12 stops in Canada.

The rock band announced their Undercover Tour 2026 on Thursday, kicking off next August in Ontario with opening act Queens of the Stone Age.

The first show is scheduled for August 4, 2026 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto.

The tour then heads west, where Mosaic Stadium in Saskatchewan will host its first concert in eight years.

Foo Fighters will play Regina Stadium on September 15th. The last time a concert was held at the stadium was in 2019, when Garth Brooks played two shows.

The Regina Exhibition Association, which runs the stadium, is struggling to attract events, adding to financial problems.

The band teased the Edmonton stop on Instagram the day before the concert was announced, posting a video to accompany their stories of flying over the iconic Edmonton stadium with its yellow and green seats.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Foo Fighters to Commonwealth Stadium, the largest stadium of its kind in Canada,” said Heather Suiter, Director of Commonwealth Stadium.

“Events like this attract people from across the city, province and beyond, shining a light on Edmonton’s welcoming spirit.”

Foo Fighters have performed in Edmonton several times, including shows at Rogers Place in 2018 and Rexall Place in 2015.

For the final Canadian date of the tour, the band will headline BC Place in Vancouver on September 20th.

The band will also perform eight shows south of the border in Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Nashville, Washington, Fargo and Las Vegas.

This is the band's first North American tour since Taylor Hawkins, longtime drummer for Foo Fighters, died in 2022..

Hawkins joined the Dave Grohl-led band in 1997 following the departure of original drummer William Goldsmith, making him one of the oldest members of the band, which was 28 years old at the time.

This was the second time Grohl experienced the death of a close bandmate. Grohl was Nirvana's drummer when Kurt Cobain died in 1994.
