Fizz Mobile launches 5G in four provinces

Fizz launches 5G service in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Fizz says its new network reaches more than 22 million Canadians.

In a press release, the operator said its 5G network has “potential speeds almost four times faster than 4G/LTE” and also delivers a smoother experience, especially when streaming or gaming.

Additionally, 5G plans are available today. Fizz members who want to use 5G must have a compatible device and then subscribe to one of the mobile data plans. Current members can update their plan by logging into their account and clicking on the “My Account” tab.

Fizz 5G plans start at 35GB for $35 per month and include unlimited texts, minutes, and voicemail. Additionally, Fiiz offers no activation fee, no free eSIM, and no commitment. You can also get a 35GB/$36 plan for Canada and the US. Alternatively, you can get a 100GB plan for Canada and the US for $46 per month.

Fizz Mobile is a subsidiary of Quebecor, which also owns Freedom Mobile and Videotron.
