Build the strongest deck in five more minutes
PurpleTurtle and Zougalu Entertainment have unveiled their new roguelike deck builder, Five More Minutes, which has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign. Along with the campaign, a test version is now available on Steam, giving players a first look at the nostalgic adventure.
The developers plan to release the game in full on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and next-generation Nintendo Switch 2, targeting a launch in the third quarter of 2026. It will be available for $19.99 with regional Steam price adjustments and a 10% discount.
Five More Minutes challenges players to build powerful decks and develop creative strategies. All the while, you explore a universe inspired by classic video game worlds. The game combines nostalgia and tactical gameplay, paying a sincere tribute to the memories formed by games over the years.
Players begin by choosing one of three unique starting genres, each with their own maps, memorabilia, and play style. They can combine these genres, opening up unconventional combinations. This will lead to powerful synergies that will change or even disrupt the rules of the game. As players progress, they can level up their characters, increase their health and actions, and collect rare souvenirs related to their gaming adventures.
