In July he was acquitted of racketeering charges and sex human trafficking, but found guilty of two counts transport for prostitution.
Throughout the Blockbuster trial, he was held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he was held until recently.
According to media reports, the disgraced tycoon has already taken a job behind bars on duty in the laundry. TMZ.
Fort Dix is a maximum security men's prison. DiddyEarlier this month, his lawyers pleaded with a judge to recommend he be moved there.
They argued that he would benefit from the drug treatment program offered there.
Former prisoners say life at Fort Dix will be easy compared to notorious neglect Metropolitan Detention Center.
Bill Boyle, who spent 14 months incarcerated at Fort Dix, said that if Combs survives MDC for more than a year, New Jersey imprisonment “will be a piece of cake for him.”
He told the US Sun: “You have 12 men in a cell and it's not a real cell. It's basically a hostel.
“You have three sets of bunk beds on one side of the wall, three sets on the other. The door to your cell doesn't lock, so you're not necessarily really locked in because these cells don't have a bathroom.”
“So you have to have access to the bathroom. No doors are locked. The front door is locked and they lock you in, but it's the front door to get in and out of.”
Despite the relaxation of the cell's rules, Boyle, founder Federal Prison Consultantssaid that the premises of this institution are as unpleasant as MDC.
He said, “In Fort Dix, there are three levels, three floors of these apartments, and you're in the shower, and you're getting dumped shower water from the shower above the third floor coming down and hitting you.
“This is disgusting. Sometimes the water in the shower was very hot or literally burned the skin.
“Some days it was cold, like Mountain Creek. You would take a bath, but it was very, very hard.”
“Sometimes the water would burst out and hit you like a fire hose.
“You couldn’t even stand under it, it was so fast and sometimes it came out like a trickle, like someone had poured a tiny glass of water on you.”
“So the conditions of daily life are brutal. The food is again terrible. You are not fed enough.”
Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison, which was the earliest he could potentially free May 8, 2018
The projected release date also includes the year Combs already served during his time in prison. Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, according to Bureau of Prisons online records.
Members of Combs' team have reportedly approached White House officials in the Trump administration about a possible pardon.
President Donald Trump accepted the request, telling reporters in the Oval Office in early October: “Many people have asked me for a pardon.
“I call him Puff Daddy, he asked me for forgiveness.”

Diddy received 50 months in prison
Combs' sensational eight-week trial ended in the summer with a 12-member jury acquitted him racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking, but found him guilty on two prostitution charges.
During the trial, the jury heard harrowing testimony from two of Combs' ex-girlfriendsincluding singer Cassandra “Cassie” Venturaabout the years of abuse they suffered at the hands of the fallen music mogul.
Ventura and another woman, identified in court only as Jane, testified about the debauched, drug-fueled sex “freaks” they were allegedly forced into while accompanied by men.
After he was cleared of more serious charges, Combs' defense offered extensive $50 million bond package judge, in which he will promise to remain in his home in Miami and limit his travel to Florida and New York.
Despite his best efforts, Judge Subramanian refused to release Combs bail ahead of his sentencing on Oct. 3.
At sentencing, Combs addressed the court for the first time since the trial, begging the judge for mercy in a 12-minute speech.
In his speech, Combs apologized to Ventura and Jane before addressing his family and telling his mother Janice, “I failed you as a son and I'm so sorry.”
He acknowledged the disturbing security footage from the hotel where his attack on Ventura was recorded and apologized to all victims of domestic violence.
