Joe Hipps hired Season 5's Caroline Vanstorm as a producer in his Cut to banner that has a deal on A24.
Onestorm joins two other former “Season 5” executives whom Hipps, the former “Season 5” television executive, hired for “Cut To” earlier this year – Patrick McDonald and Katie Jarla.
The move to Vanstorm comes after she spent nearly six years on Season 5, most recently as vice president of the TV group. During her tenure, she worked on developing series such as Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 for Hulu, Savant for Apple TV and upcoming His and Hers for Netflix.
Vanstrom also oversaw several first-look and overall season five deals, including a deal with Oscar Isaac's Mad Gene Entertainment.
Before joining Fifth Season (fka Endeavor Content) in 2019, Vanstorm worked at Fox Searchlight Pictures, first as an assistant to Nancy Utley and then as a television coordinator for the launch of Searchlight Television.
Hipps launched Cut To with a deal with A24 after leaving Fifth Season last fall. A year later, the two packages he purchased with A24 this fall generated heavy bidding. Prudencestarring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning. going to Paramount+And trigger point, headlined by Joe Edgerton, landing on Netflix – both with direct order in series.
