Flanker brands Fido and Virgin Plus are back with new plans. It's worth noting that all of these plans include some kind of auto-pay discount, which means you'll need to set up pre-authorized payments. Additionally, these plans include the use of your own phone and do not include the purchase of a cell phone.
Virgin Plus
- $45/month, 10GB+ unlimited international texting, call display, call waiting, conference calling
- $50/month, 40GB+ unlimited international texting, call display, call waiting, conference calling
Fido
- $45/mo, 10GB + $0 hotspot, 500 international texts
- $50/mo, 40GB + $0 hotspot, 500 international texts
- $55/mo, 60GB + $0 hotspot, 1000 international texts
Notably, these new plans are more expensive and contain less data than before. For example, Virgin Plus. previously offered 10GB for $40/month and 40GB for $45/month back in August. Now the same plans cost $5 more per month.
Meanwhile, Previously, Fido had plans costing 40/20GB, 45/50GB and 50/70GB.so now it not only charges $5 more per month, but also provides customers with less data.
Koodo has not yet significantly changed its plans since the reintroduction of 5G options back in July. We hope he at least stays on track and doesn't follow others in raising prices.
