Fender Offers Up Its First Wireless Headphones, With Emphasis on Battery Life

Fender Audio unveils its first wireless headphones at the show CES 2026 next week, and the battery life is so long that they can survive the four-day event itself.

Mix headphones boast 100 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation off and 52 with ANC on at 50% volume. If necessary, the battery can also be replaced. The company says a 15-minute charge will provide one hour of listening time, while a full charge will take two hours.

Active noise cancellation sounds cool, but what exactly is it? You can go down a very complex (but interesting) technical rabbit hole if you really want to get into it, but at its core, ANC—sometimes called noise cancellation or active noise cancellation—is reducing unwanted sound by adding a second sound is intended to cancel the first.

The headphones have three sound modes – lossless, low latency and Auracast – to “adapt to any setting.” Lossless allows listeners to stream high-quality audio at 96 kHz/24-bit; Low latency allows you to transmit high-quality audio in games in less than 20 ms; and Auracast allows you to cast to multiple devices.

For conversation, the Mix features dual noise-cancelling microphones for “clear voice quality for calls and voice commands.” There is also a 3.5mm AUX input.
