Fate of the Vaal League Mechanics explained – Destructoid

The Fate of the Vaal League, introduced as part of the Last of the Druids update in Path of Exile 2allows you to create your own dungeons, which completely changes the way you've been playing the game ever since.

Having your own dungeons will be extremely helpful as you can decide what the loot looks like. You can also upgrade dungeons as you wish, but you'll have to build the place first. The whole process is quite simple if you understand the subtle nuances.

How to Create Your Own Dungeons in Path of Exile 2

The process begins with a search Vaal Beacons which are randomly placed at different levels of the map in Path of Exile 2. They are easy to find: large disks lying on the ground surrounded by various bosses. To activate the beacon, defeat all nearby enemies, which will also give you a reward.

Repeat the process six times to open the portal. This portal will allow you to visit the Vaal Ruins, also known as the Temple, where all other events take place.

Creation of a temple

Once you are inside the new version of the Temple, traveling using the Portal, you will find a Waypoint and a console. Use the console to open the dungeon map. You will find six random names on the map. All six titles will expand as you place a Temple, and they will all have their own unique challenges.

Select a tile and you will get detailed information about it. The nature and rewards you receive from a particular room will vary. Some will allow you to farm crafting materials and the like, while others will likely have a workbench where you can upgrade your gear.

Some titles can also level up other titles adjacent to them. As the tile level increases, you will face a more challenging challenge and get a greater reward. The ultimate goal is to reach the final room while continually expanding the Temple. To do this, you will have to find and activate more Vaal beacons.

Path of Exile 2: Late Game Vaal Ruins Challenge

Once you defeat Doryani in Act 3, he will allow you to return to the old version of the Temple (as mentioned above). Your goal is to use the portal to stop Aziri, Queen of Baal. At this point, your Temple will likely expand several times and have more types of rooms compared to the six tiles you had at the beginning.

The more rooms you have, the better. As I said, each room has its own unique purpose and you will have to use them all to defeat Aziri. While all of these things seem simple, it will take time to reach the late game, and you'll discover a lot of complex details along the way.
