Investigators forced Vadi to confess and make a confession in a televised statement, threatening to torture his mother.

“The key sites were Fordo and Natanz (uranium enrichment plants), about which I sent information. I told them I knew this and that about Fordo, they (Mossad agent) told me to send everything,” Wadi said in what IRIB called a “confession video” it aired.

“The flow of nuclear material into and out of the Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) and Fuel Manufacturing Plant (FMP) was very important to them,” added Wadi, who received his PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the Amir Kabir University of Technology.

The voiceover in the video said that Wadi met with Mossad agents five times while in Vienna and was asked to open a cryptocurrency account to receive payment for his services. In the video, the accused said that the Mossad promised him a foreign passport if he completed his long-term cooperation.
