Kinan claimed that the root of the problem consists in the pharmaceutical industry itself, and not in supervision of psychiatric drugs (FDA).
“I think that the problem is most related to the fact that the industry has grown to almost $ 5 billion,” he said. “It seems that pharmaceuticals and medical workers are now considering this as an opportunity to make customers throughout their lives instead of really getting the necessary help to them.”

Kinan said that many legislators are “afraid” to challenge to pharmaceutical companies and medical suppliers who benefit from gender support, although he believes that some are ready to take part in the fight. “I don't care. I do not take money from any pharmaceutical companies, so I know that this is right – and someone should start somewhere, ”he said.
