Bungie's latest game Marathonis a sci-fi shooter that will be released a few months after 2026. While Bungie releases gameplay trailers and videos from time to time, its latest ViDoc video featured an updated release window.
What is the release date of the Marathon?
Marathon will officially launch in March 2026price $39.99/€39.99/£34.99depending on your region. These details appeared in the official ViDoc video, with a separate announcement coming later on the Bungie news page.
Bungie originally announced a release date of September 23, 2025 during Marathon first demo of gameplay. It has since been delayed briefly before the latest update arrived.
While this may cause further delays, the latest information at the time of writing is that March 26th is Bungie's current scheduled arrival time. Marathon. Nothing is known about the official day other than this.

Bungie also revealed more details about Marathon launch features detailing that the purchase gives you full access to the game, as well as free gameplay updates through 2026. Exact details are limited, but there's still a lot to unpack.
