Ewa Pajor nears Champions League benchmark after latest goal in Barcelona win

Eva Payor set Barcelona up to beat Benfica 3-1. Champions League on Wednesday and came within sight of Sam Kerr's scoring record.

Payor's first goal in the 29th minute at the Johan Cruyff Stadium was her 15th in 16 group or league stage matches in European club football's premier tournament. According to UEFA, only Chelsea striker Kerr has more goals at this stage of the Champions League – 16 goals.
