Las Vegas, the city of lights, gambling and buffets, has added some fast cars and turned the Nevada desert into a celebrity hotspot for the weekend. Today is officially race day and all the stars are waiting to see who will win the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Vegas. But now that Beyoncé has donned a helmet and racing suit, the racers may be fighting for second place. Perhaps Bey's new racing career will be the third act turning point no one saw coming. Every race this weekend is important and celebrities are making sure to witness every moment of the action. Below is everyone who made it to Vegas.

Yesterday's race was, to put it mildly, very tense. Alisha Palmowski was disqualified after her car was found to have an incorrect Belleville stack configuration in violation of the vehicle's regulations. She finished third during Friday's race, with Aurelia Nobels inheriting her place after being disqualified. I hope there will be another season F1 Academy to see how it all unfolded behind the scenes. At least for now, racers can hang out with their favorite racer, Hello Kitty.
