Evangelion: 1.11 You're (Not) Alone is back in stock on Blu-ray at Amazon for $24.49 (was $30). Shout Factory re-released the Blu-ray editions of Evangelion 1.11 and Evangelion: 2.22 in October. First film in Rebuilding Evangelion Saga sold out on release day, so if you missed the game, now's your chance to snag a copy. Evangelion: 2.22 You can (not) advance available on Blu-ray for $24 (was $30). Both films were not sold in the United States for a long time.
Amazon also has an amazing deal on two Collector's Editions of Evangelion: 3.0+1.11 Thrice Upon a Time. Evangelion: 3.0+1.11 Steelbook Blu-ray Edition discounted to just $22.85 while Collector's Edition 4K Blu-ray on sale for $52.26 (was $80). Unfortunately, Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Remake is currently only available on DVD in the US – unless you're willing to pay a hefty premium for sold out Blu-ray.
Rebuild of Evangelion was released in four parts from 2007-2021 as a retelling of the beloved 90s series Neon Genesis Evangelion. If you'd like to re-watch the original, you can purchase Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Complete Series on Blu-ray for just $33.49 (was $60) at Amazon or Walmart.

The first installment in the Rebuild saga, Evangelion 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone, is almost a remake of the first six episodes of the '90s anime, but with new animation and a few seemingly minor differences that will pay off big time later. This version of the film has audio tracks in Japanese and English, and subtitles in English and Spanish. As a bonus, you will receive a booklet, a bright case and numerous additional materials on the disc:

Evangelion 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance retells episodes 8–23 of the original anime series, but takes big departures from the story and introduces new character Mari Illustrious Makinami. The Blu-ray release contains audio tracks in English and Japanese, as well as subtitles in English and Spanish.
Evangelion 2.22 comes packaged in the same display case and includes several extras on disc.

The third installment of Rebuild of Evangelion takes the storyline even further away from the events of the anime series as the film tells a completely original story. Set 14 years later and heavily focused on the character Kaoru, Evangelion 3.33: You Can (Not) Redo introduced even more new characters and Eva robots.
As mentioned, the Blu-ray edition of Evangelion 3.33 is not currently available in the US, but the DVD edition includes some interesting extras, such as a 54-page art booklet and several featurettes. It also comes in a case that matches the Blu-ray versions of the first two films.

The fourth and final film, Rise of Evangelion, took nearly a decade to hit theaters, but it was worth the wait. Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time is a grand finale that received critical acclaim upon release as it satisfactorily concludes the entire Neon Genesis Evangelion saga. Special features of this edition include commercials, trailers and animated messages.
Evangelion 3.0+1.0 is available on standard Blu-ray in two editions. Limited Edition Steelbook discounted to $22.85, and the standard version with case costs only $16.49..

Thrice Upon a Time also received an $80 Collector's Edition when it was released in physical format in late 2023. This three-disc set includes the film on 4K Blu-ray, as well as two standard Blu-ray discs from other releases. Special features are displayed in 1080p resolution.

Before diving into Rebuild of Evangelion, you should first watch (or re-watch) the original 26-episode anime series. It's a thrilling ride with timeless '90s animation, giant robots, heady themes and an amazing soundtrack.
The Complete Series Blu-ray box set includes each episode with English audio and original Japanese audio with subtitles. In addition to 26 episodes, you'll get over five hours of bonus features, including two Blu-ray movies. The first Evangelion film, Death (of Truth), is a recap of the events of the series, while The End of Evangelion is a retelling of the final two episodes.

It's significantly more expensive than the standard Blu-ray box set, but the limited edition re-release is available on Amazon for $139.31. This region-free Blu-ray set comes with free shipping and is sold by Amazon UK, but you buy it through Amazon's US storefront.
The Limited Edition includes The Complete Series with a new dub (the same as the standard edition), but also comes with the original ADV dub. The resulting Limited Edition is an 11-disc collection and contains over seven hours of bonus features.
The discs are packaged in three slipcases that can be displayed in a hard-shell collector's box. This is a limited edition Reissuetherefore, it does not include all additional collectibles from the original Crunchyroll exclusive. Apart from the discs/boxes, the only additional item in the box is a replica of the UK advertising campaign poster.
Get the first three volumes of the manga for $16.50.
While anime series and movies are the best way to enjoy Neon Genesis Evangelion, you shouldn't get stuck on the manga either. The initial mileage is collected according to five inexpensive paperback bookswith each collection including three original paperback volumes.
Not only do you get a beautifully illustrated retelling of the Neon Genesis Evangelion story, but you also get additional context as some characters are given more time to shine in the expanded narrative.
The manga debuted before the anime and was intended as a companion to the series. The manga consists of 14 paperback volumes. The first four collections contain three volumes, and the fifth volume contains the last two.

Fans of Neon Genesis Evangelion should also check out the official artbooks, which contain illustrations for the work. The hardback edition of Der Mond is on sale at a 50% discount. This 120-page hardcover book features 74 pages of Neon Genesis Evangelion art by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. The remaining pages are dedicated to Sadamoto's work for other projects both in and outside of anime.
Meanwhile, Evangelion Illustrations 2007-2017 can be purchased for $32.54 (was $35). This 176-page large format paperback book is dedicated exclusively to Neon Genesis Evangelion.
