Cornerstone software development in partnership with Asmodeus and Fantasy Flight Games have announced Eldritch Horror: Digital Edition, a modern adaptation of the famous co-op board game. Set to release in the first quarter of 2026 on PC for $24.99, the digital version brings the world-spanning mystery, horror and teamwork of the board game to an exciting new format.
In Eldritch Horror: Digital Edition, players lead a team of investigators around the world. Along the way, they confront cults, discover forbidden knowledge, and battle nightmarish entities straight out of Lovecraft's mythos. Every decision matters, shaping a branching story that ensures no two playthroughs are the same. Success requires cooperation and strategy, as failure could mean awakening the Ancient One and sealing the fate of humanity.
The game features fully voiced characters, an original soundtrack, and hand-drawn 2D artwork. It all reflects the creepy aesthetic of the original 1920s board game.
